The Cosmic Tinkerer or the Tinkerer is a non-player character (NPC) who resides at /spawn. She offers to trade custom enchanted books in exchange for magic dust, mastery shards for anti-mkit crystals, and armor and weaponry for player XP. The Tinkerer is also accessible outside of spawn (remotely) by executing the /tinkerer command.

Trade Offers

The Tinkerer accepts three kinds of items—armorpieces and weaponry, custom enchanted books, and mastery shards. For armorpieces and weaponry, she offers XP bottles valued relative to the rarity of custom enchantments on the itempiece. If the item is an armorset piece, an armorset crystal with a 20% success rate is offered in exchange.

In case of custom enchanted books, secret dust is offered in exchange with a maximum success rate increase of up to +9%. Secret dusts form magic dusts upon redemption. The success rate is capped at 10% of the success rate of the book being traded.

For mastery shards, an anti-mkit crystal corresponding to the mkit of the mastery shard is offered with a success rate of 1%. Anti-mkit crystals can be combined to increase their success rates.
