It naturally spawns at the LMS but may be spawned manually using boss eggs.

Background

The Undead Assassin originates from the underworld and is supposedly a dead skeleton walking. It tells its enemies it is already dead and therefore there is no need to kill it, but this is likely a persuasion tactic to leave it alone. The horse used to be a normal warhorse that died in the now-lost /battlefield arena. The minions are likely citizens that once lived in the battlefield.

It is unclear what they are being paid, but their open comment about being paid is probably a tongue-in-cheek nod to the absurdity of their situation.

Attacks

As a skeleton jockey, the assassin only shoots arrows (i.e., deals projectile damage). The horse does not perform any attack. When the horse dies, the assassin enters a melee phase where it performs the attacks listed below.

Undead Assassin Attack Strategies

Strategy	Description
Melee	22.5HP × 11.25 HP melee damage inflicted using a diamond sword.
Minions	Summons a group of 6 minions—each spawning with 100HP × 50 HP, 20 ( × 10) armor points, and a diamond sword. Attacks deal 16HP × 8 damage to enemies. The Undead Assassin remains invincible, immobile, and harmless until every minion has been killed. The minions will teleport back to the boss if left idle (i.e., when it does not deal any successful attacks in 5 seconds). Unlike most other bosses, the minion spawn rate is sufficiently low (≈3 minutes).

Dialogs

The Undead Assassin occasionally sends messages in chat and during specific events. These messages can be distinguished by the boss's name—all messages are prefixed with "Undead Assassin >>".
