On CosmicPE, factions gameplay is structured around four primary aspects: base building, grinding, raiding, and combat. Base building involves claiming the first piece of land for your faction (known as the core claim) and constructuing defensive structures around it. Grinding refers to collection of resources (in-game money and XP) using automated mob farms. Raiding is the act of attacking rival factions using TNT cannons to breach their core claim. Combat includes both player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) helps effectively execute the other 3 parts.

A faction begins with base building, followed by grinding. Raiding is considered an advanced aspect of the game, and combat is encountered naturally when engaging in other activities.

Setup a scoreboard to your side to see your in-game balance without having to run /bal by following the steps below:

  1. Run /scoreboard or /sb command, then click NEW.
  2. Give a name to your scoreboard, e.g., my scoreboard.
  3. For scoreboard template, select Default. Submit the form.
  4. Click the Back button, then click Select and close the form.

Scoreboards can be modified further to display live XP, armor durability, server TPS, ping, and more.
