| CosmicPE has a hierarchical '''ranks''' system of 8 ranks obtainable in-game. Ranks are tiered 1-5, or 0-7 if counting Trainee, Heroic, and Interstellar ranks. Once unlocked, a rank is permanently associated with a player account. Ranks cannot be transferred from one account to another. Ranks 1-5 come with a set of items obtainable by executing <code>/reclaim</code> once every season or after unlocking the rank.

| Only Tier 2, Tier 4, and Tier 5 are obtainable from webstore (but can still be obtained in-game). This has been the case since the beginning of CosmicPE. Prior to the 2020 rewrite, only these 3 ranks were obtainable on the server. Remaining ranks were introduced along with rank quests after the rewrite.
