Faction Rules

Base & Buffer

The main shell of a base can not exceed 15 x 15 chunks in size. The "buffer" can extend up to 20 chunks from the base.

In total, the maximum size a base + buffer can be is 35x35 chunks.

Players are permitted to create grinder boxes and water protect the exterior of their grinder boxes. Players are permitted to implement reverse layers between base floors (10 layers maximum, 1 block thick.).

1x sand wall per chunk, a maximum of 20 in a maxed buffer.

Failure to comply with the standards listed will result in a punishment.

Punishments

  • 1st Offence: Warning, 24 Hours to resolve non-compliant structures/claims. If not resolved in 24 hours, it will be treated as a 2nd offence. If you are intentionally using this 24 hour period to circumvent this rule, staff reserve the right to escalate the punishment.
  • 2nd+ Offence: Faction Strikes
Illegal Value Protection

Spawners and Custom Blocks must be exposed at all times within your base.

This means you are not permitted to encase them with any blocks that would render them unraidable.

This can include but is not limited to:

  • Encasing in water/water protected blocks
  • Encasing in Obsidian or any other unceggable blocks
  • Protecting with TNT
  • Flooding inside grinder boxes

You are not permitted to make multiple small boxes for your spawners to stop factions from raiding them.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Boxes that have no obvious intention of using the spawners for grinding/money-making methods, but yet are for the intention of storing spawners and the avoidance of other factions raiding that box or acquiring value

Large member boxes are permitted to be split into different boxes, but each needs to be a minimum of 2x2x3 (32x32x32 blocks) chunks in order to address the above guideline.

Punishments

  • 1st+ Offence: Faction Strike
Illegal Buffer Repairs

Base/Buffer repairs can not be conducted with GEN BUCKETS for the repair of base and/or buffer walls during an ON-GOING raid. While Gen Buckets are disabled during a Raid Session, any attempts to circumvent this restriction will result in a punishment.

You must place blocks BY HAND to repair any damage.

Intentionally using blocks that cause FPS lag for attackers is strictly forbidden.

This can include but is not limited to:

  • Enchantment Tables
  • Carpets
  • Chests

Punishments

  • 1st Offence: 7d Ban
  • 2nd+ Offence: 7d ban to perpetrator and Faction Strike
Core Chunks & Faction Point System

Players are not permitted to undermine the faction point system or core chunks. They must be used as intended and nothing more.

This can include but is not limited to:

  • Lining up alt faction core chunks in a straight line
  • Using your core chunk on enemy claims so that your raid claims will not expire
  • Unclaiming your base/claims to prevent raiding
